When do I need a driveway permit?

You need a driveway permit any time that you work on you driveway. Always before you change your driveway in any way check with the Township office (717-734-2280) we can probably save you money. We have pipe and will sell it to you and put it in for free so please check with the Township before you do anything to your driveway. New homes need a driveway check with us we will help you with the driveway.

Building Permits

When do I need a building permit and why?

Any time you are going to repair or build anything check with Betty Arentz (717-734-3894) even if you are only going to move a small shed into the Township you probably need a permit. Why? This is not really the Township’s idea the State says you need a permit and the county says you need a permit and they say the Township has to issue them or else.

Sewage Permit

To obtain sewage permit to install a new system or to fix an old system you must contact Bob Kratzer at the Juniata Sewage Committee at 717-436-9094.
